The DC Batman Run Series Australia will celebrate 80 years of Batman, the #1 Super Hero in the world. The fun run will be held on Batman’s Day, 21 September 2019. The celebration event will kick-off at Brisbane’s very own Gotham Central on Ann St. The 5Km run is one of the many special events for Batman’s 80th Anniversary celebration that Warner Bros. and DC is hosting this year, giving Batman fans of all ages the opportunity to read, watch, shop, and experience all things inspired by the Dark Knight.
The DC Batman 5K Fun Run (& Walk) will celebrate the 80 years of Batman the #1 Super Hero in the world.
Celebrating 80 years as The World’s Greatest Detective, Batman is the ultimate crusader against injustice. His unparalleled intellect and physical abilities prove that superpowers are not needed to be a Super Hero.
In the only Australian DC Batman Run Series, participants will receive an exclusive Batman race kit and post-race finish line party with live entertainment, photo opportunities with Batman and much more. The course will wind through some of Brisbane City’s most iconic landmarks finish at one of the newest and very Batman themed event spaces in Brisbane, the Maritime Museum. All DC Batman Run finishers will receive a limited edition 80th Anniversary finisher’s medal to commemorate their accomplishment and the celebration of Batman.
