5. The Ballandean Pyramid

What a surprise to find that Ballandean has its own pyramid! It’s on private land, but it’s a must to grab a pic from the roadside (about 25m from the pyramid). The stone pyramid sits 45 feet high and was built of local granite chunks left over from a construction project. It’s close to the New England Highway, but closer access is via Eukey Road through to Jacobson Road just north of the village of Ballandean.
