Product Review: IRIDIUM 9555 HANDSET

A basic reliable satellite phone for the budget conscious traveller is the 9555 Handset. Its appearance and functionality reminded me of the old Nokia phones so it was very easy to place calls and send texts as I felt I already had a familiarity with it.

I preferred the bundle with the Telstra waterproof pelican case to keep the 9555 protected from the elements and to store it safely when I am not using it. In the box were also additional accessories, charger, handsfree headset, USB, an auxiliary antenna and a leather case.
