Athletes can compete either as an individual or in Teams of four in relay format. Individual divisions for each gender are as follows: Pro or Age Group (18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+). Team Relay divisions include: Men, Women, or Co-Ed (2 men + 2 women)

Pro division athletes must qualify to compete. There are no qualification requirements for Age Group or Team Relay divisions.

Additionally, each individual competition athlete is permitted three pit crew members. Pit crew members receive an exclusive 2018 Pit Crew t-shirt, access to the athlete pit area, and wristband, and must be registered in advance ($20 per person).
