Sydney lawyer breaks Guinness World Record for running marathon in a suit

If running a 42-kilometre marathon sounds difficult enough, imagine doing it dressed in a three-piece suit.

But that’s exactly what two men attempted on Sunday at the Sydney Running Festival.

And for Matthew Whitaker, a 25-year-old lawyer from North Bondi, he ended the day as a Guinness World Record holder.

“It seemed like a bit of fun,” he said.
