Women’s Adventure Film Tour
In May this year SHE WENT WILD partnered with Mountainfilm on Tour: Aus & NZ to create the First Women’s Adventure Film Festival ever held in Australia. They had such an incredible response to their event that they have launched an official national tour. #womensadventurefilmtour
The mission is to create a film festival that empowers and inspires all who watch it. The tour is officially partnered with Jean Hailes for Women’s Health Week to support women’s health and wellbeing.
Being adventurous doesn’t always have to mean being the fastest, going the highest or doing the most extreme things. Adventure for the most of us is stepping outside our comfort zone and climbing our own personal Everest. The selection of unique films have been carefully chosen to show awesome women achieving their adventurous goals. The films showcase real stories about women from a variety of cultures and sports around the world. So bring your adventurous family, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, wives and children to celebrate adventurous women!
The tour is officially partnered with Mountain Designs and supported by the Australian Government’s Girls Make Your Move, Adventurous Women as well as a host of amazing local organisations.
Throughout the tour they will be giving away great prizes including a trip with Adventurous Women valued at nearly $3000, plus hosting amazing speakers such as Alyssa Azar – Adventurer
The Women’s Adventure Film Tour runs from September, with tickets starting at $15.
