Feature Article: Two Wheels on The Real Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is 1000 times longer than any monument ever created. It is the largest civil project ever to be attempted in history. Construction began around 700BC and they were still working on it when Columbus discovered America. Thousands of people died over the years of building it. Photos and selfies are always in abundance from this place, and many celebrities have shown up on it.

But what few know is that the wall that most tourists tread their feet on and those walls in which they record their initials are not even that old. They offer barely a few decades of history. Beyond the tourist attraction there is a very different wall, rarely visited or filmed. Almost unknown, and located just above the horizon from where tourists stop to take their selfies; This is the real Great Wall of China.
